NASHVILLE, TN: Clearwater Compliance- a provider of healthcare compliance and information risk management services- announces the release of Cyber Risk Services, an information and cyber security program.  The program is designed to help CIOs and CISOs of healthcare organizations achieve rapid visibility, improve information security compliance and risk management posture.

The three-year program uses real-time information privacy and security skill sets to help healthcare organizations establish, implement and grow information resources management (IRM) programs. CRS provides onsite support within two business days, in case of an Office for Civil Rights’ enforcement action, to prepare a response and related evidence and remains engaged throughout any OCR (Office for Civil Rights) enforcement process.

CRS is built up of Clearwater’s IRM-Pro software working with IT, security and risk management teams to improve security effectiveness. The program offers a designate risk management leader, annual risk analyses and risk response, onsite presence for risk oversight duties, monthly and quarterly executive reports and ongoing IRM education. CRS also helps eliminate process variation and improve data protection strategies, using NIST’s (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and OCR’s guide to IRM.

“Clearwater is proud to offer hospital leaders a comprehensive, cost-effective approach to ensure patient safety, and safeguard a hospital’s finances and reputation,” says Bob Chaput, CEO and Founder, Clearwater Compliance. “Organizations can realize a proven security infrastructure through adoption of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) IRM approach.”
